Real experiences from leaders, teams, and organisations who’ve worked with Romain and seen meaningful, lasting change.
I had the pleasure of working with Romain Muhammad during the professional learning series, Blackness in Europe, hosted by Yale University’s MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies and Center for British Art.
Romain introduced U.S.-based session participants to historical and contemporary conceptions of race and the often overlooked presence of African and African descendant communities in Europe’s history. Using primary historical documents and art integration, Romain’s depth of knowledge and engaging presentation were so well received by participants that a second session was requested after his first scheduled facilitation.
I’m grateful for his intellectual offering to our community of educational practitioners and highly recommend his services.
Romain delivered multiple sessions for us during a month-long mental health at work campaign.
Collaboration in the run up to the sessions was great with Romain taking time to understand the needs of our company, and allowing me to share some specific details (such as policies and employee networks) that he incorporated into his content.
Delivery was great — Romain created open spaces for people to reflect and provided opportunities for engagement throughout, despite some group sizes being over 100 people. Feedback has been really positive!
Romain has been an absolute star in matching me up with a new job. Right from the beginning, he was in constant contact, letting me know what was happening and what to expect to happen next. He even called on my first day to see how it went.
He was kind, helpful, respectful, and always did what was in the best interests of all parties. I would recommend Romain to all companies and people looking to get the right person and job aligned.
Thank you so much, Romain.
Romain hosted a very inspiring session for the London branch of Rabobank and shared a lot of really important insights, improving awareness of different cultures, perspectives as part of a series of inclusion events.
His knowledge, clear communication were really valuable and the feedback from colleagues was really positive. Thank you!
Romain is such an inspirational speaker. He has so much knowledge of Black British history and shares this in a way that engages his audience, making topics that can be challenging accessible to all.
